Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2013 collection of Christian Dior at Paris fashion week

The Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2013 collection of Christian Dior was presented during the Paris Fashion Week yesterday. This is the second collection by the Belgian designer Raf Simons for the famous French label. Instead on a traditional catwalk the defile was presented in a recreated garden in the Tuileries. The Belgian gardening firm Jacques Wirtz supplied the plants and design.

The luxury couture models had flowers and embroidery in abundance. A number of dresses were composed of two or three layers of tulle, with embroidery designed to create a three-dimensional effect.

Most of the outfits were in dazzling color combinations and spring-hued colors - grass green, poppy, lilac, periwinkle, ashes of roses.
