Royal baby`s name is George Alexander Louis
Only a day after they left hospital, the royal couple - Prince William and Kate Middleton - announced that their baby's name is George Alexander Louis.
He will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge and one day as King George VII, unless he decide to use his middle name.
The announcement came a bit surprisingly, because usually the royal family doesn't make their choice public, for at least one week after baby's birth.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have choosen traditional royal names. There have already been six British monarchs called George - the last being the Queen's father, George VI.
After the Queen's visit, yesterday, July 24, 2013, the duke, duchess and infant prince left Kensington Palace for Bucklebury, Berkshire, where the Middletons have a manor house. William and Kate will now seek some privacy.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: 'This is now a private and quiet time for them to get to know their son.'
