Harper's Bazaar announced Women of the Year

The ex-singer of the popular band from the late 90s' Spice Girls Victoria Beckham and former star of the TV series "The X-Files' Gillian Anderson were among the big winners of the Women of the Year Awards of the magazine Harper` s Bazaar, transmitted contactmusic.

Beckham, who is a designer, took the award for special contribution to British fashion.

Anderson won the award for television icon, while Australian actress Cate Blanchett was declared the winner of the International actress.

Among the winners is the girlfriend of rock legend Mick Jagger - the fashion stylist and designer Lauren Scott, and British actor Idris Elba was announced for the Man of the Year.
