Virginiq Zdravkova presents in a glamourous fashion show the newest collection of VIRGINIA ATELIER

The models are entirely in the spirit of tipical haute couture

Designer Virginia Zdravkova, winner of Golden Needle Award and one of the leading names in Bulgarian haute couture, presented Virginia atelier’s collection autumn-winter 2005/2006 during the biggest fashion show in Bulgaria.

The unique event was organized together with Visages Model Group and 30 of the most popular Bulgarian topmodels came back especially for the case: Gergana Polejanova, Rumiana Krasteva, Rositca Chernogorova, Tania Ilieva, Tedi Velinova, Rositca Ivanova – “Miss Bulgaria” 2005 and many others.

Among the admirers of Virginia Zdravkova’s work showed up the names of baroness Mariana Gendovich, Julia Bull, Nicole Jeunjéjean – French consul’s wife, Evgeni Minchev, Evgeni Mihailov – director of Boiana Cinema Center, Mira Dobreva, Kamelia Todorova, Dimitar Berbatov e.t.c. Many actors attended the event – Ekaterina Euro, Biliana Petrinska, Paraskeva Jukelova, Elena Petrova. At the end of the review a magnificent luminous spectacle lit the sky over Roman sets in the cinema center and the designer’s logo was written with fiery letters. A fashion party started after that, with the special participation of DJ Vasques and DJ Don4o.

Virginia Zdravkova is a creator who pays great attention to details and strives for coding in them the real value of the cloth. That’s why she preffers skillful decorations which give to the apparel more romance, feminity and poetry. The models from collection autumn-winter 2005/2006 are 40 and they are designed in completely new line, combining the glamour of crinoline wedding dress and the tight-fitting silhouette, enhancing the famale figure. The collection contains dresses which are tight-fitting till hip and their bottom part is extremely flared. The sleeves are long with beads and crystals hanging, which flicker while moving and give a sense of life to the dress. The top of the apparel is transparent and embraces the body with craftful applications, which fluently pass to the bottom part of the dress. Trim, knee-high dresses are a new effect in this collection.

Wedding dresses for autumn-winter 2005/2006 glitter in fresh bright colors – white, ivory, gold, silver, and combinations between white and silver, ivory and silver or very pale pink, lightblue with ecru and silver e.t.c. The appropriate accessories are entire fox shawls, decorated with ribbons and beads organza stoles, edged with French lace, witch is trimmed with crystals and beads; short shiffon capes, adorned with natural fur, short fluffy veils.

Workmanship prevails over, as most of the dresses are covered with Swarovski cristals sequins and beads. Part of them are entirely workmanship without using a mashine – competely in the spirit of tipical haute couture.

Evening dresses which are entirely tight-fitting and enhancing the famale figure are in chameleonic colours – yellow and green, brown and black, orange and red. They are made of taffeta and are decorated with fox fur in same colors. The dress, made of fabric with peacock plumes like a train drawn, makes great impression as well as the dress made of taffeta and decorated with whole python leather.

Virginia Zdravkova’s creations which give off aristocracy, are made of extremely expensive and refined fabrics – satin, silk, silk taffeta, taffeta with metal fibre, organza with lamé fibre, embroided organza, laces of world famous brands like Darceuer, Solsties ? Dognin which show her eternal striving for beauty, finesse and elegance.
