Rosie Huntington-Whiteley designed underwear collection for Marks and Spencer

The 25-year-old model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had the opportunity to create her debut underwear collection for Autograph at Marks & Spencer.

Originally the Vogue cover girl had dreams of being a designer before being "swept away" by the world of modelling.

"I always wanted to go to fashion college," Huntington-Whiteley told us. "I got diverted. I got swept away to model and I thought: 'Well it will at least give me some experience within the industry and I'll hopefully get to work with different designers from all over the world - which is what I managed to do.'"

"From very early on in my modelling career it became apparent to me that it wasn't going to be forever, you have a shelf life," she explained. "I wanted to make sure I had some form of security that didn't just depend on my appearance. I wanted to use my brain, explore it in different ways and try new things."

"I see myself as a businesswoman," she told Vogue. "My work is just that: work. I'm here to work, and I've got this business - I'm very responsible with my career. And then to be able to find fulfillment within that and be creative and do the things that I really love to do, well - I just feel really lucky,"
