PREMIÈRE VISION LEATHER confirms its premium positioning and launches new projects

Première Vision Leather, formerly CUIR À PARIS, is confirming its position as the premium show for leathers. Making the most of the synergy of the six Première Vision Paris shows, the world’s best tanneries have chosen PV Leather to present their new collections to the leading luxury and fashion labels, from 10 to 12 February 2015.

The dynamism of the show is illustrated in this 28th edition by the presence of 20 new companies, specially chosen by the Selection Committee: 11 tanneries, 8 manufacturers of technical components for footwear and 1 company specialising in textiles for accessories. This occasion will see some very fine tanneries exhibit for the first time, namely PITTARDS(United Kingdom), TARNSJO(Sweden), CURTIDOS BASSOLS(Spain), FUGA COUROS(Brazil) and ALDO E IVO PORTOLANO GUANTI(Italy).

For many years, the tanneries of the leading French luxury labels have been present at the show, displaying their peerless expertise. This edition, for the first time, the Kering Group (Gucci), which has exhibited for many years along with the CARAVEL and FRANCE CROCO tanneries, is presenting its new Serbian tannery, LUXURY TANNING. From now on, all the group’s products will be exhibited on a single stand.

Tanneries clearly have confidence in the show, with more than 350 exhibitors registered to date – occupying an equivalent surface area to that of February 2014 – to present their Summer 2016 collections of leather, fur, soles and textiles for accessories. Of this number, 84% are international companies. Italy is always the leader, representing 60.5% of exhibitors, 16% are from France, 6.5% from Turkey, 6.5% from Spain.

CUIR & CREATION: THREE EXHIBITIONS

Première Vision Leather is showcasing the leather and design professions in the form of three events at this edition:
