JW Anderson is the first ever designer who wins the BFA men`s and womenswear designer awards in the same year

During one of the most prestigious events in the fashion industry - British Fashion Awards 2015 - the Northern Irish fashion designer JW Anderson was named Menswear and Womenswear Designer of the year. This is happening for the first time - one designer to win the both categories in the same year.

Anderson's competitors for the prize were Victoria Beckham and Christopher Kane for womenswear and E Tautz and Tom Ford for menswear.

The 31-year-old designer, who established J.W.Anderson in 2008, won the award for his forward-looking vision for men's and women's fashion and his abilities to start and set trends.
