Young designers presented their work in London

Students, graduating fashion design in Britain, opened Graduate Fashion Week in London, which will continue until Wednesday night.
The event represents the work of more than 1000 students from 35 fashion universities and colleges around the country.
Each of them is hoping that he or she might have the talent and skill to impress an industry headhunter or become the next John Galliano.

Vesselina Pentcheva understands what women crave and with her intuitive flair she combines the skill and artistry of tradition with up to the minute design.
Born in Bulgaria she presented her first fashion show in her hometown of Russe at the tender age of sixteen. In 1993 Vesselina moved to South Africa to study at the Gordon Flack Davidson Academy of Design, where she gained a mastery of the classical techniques of couture and graduated as top student in 1996. Marianne Fassler who inspired her sense of freedom and creativity then hired her as assistant designer.

the fashion market is currently swamped with impressive talent.She said: “Now is not an easy time to start as a young designer - unless you are very special and dedicated, and not afraid of hard work.”
The magazine chief says upcoming designers must question their determination and longevity before committing to a fashion career as it is growing increasingly difficult to become an established name in the industry.
