Christian Louboutin presents his new lug soles

Sporting a more defined toe cap, these low-profile styles are constructed from principal lasts in the Louboutin Homme collection - Roadie, Dandelion and Greggo, now interpreted with a fresh perspective on new styles Hubertus Orlato Flat, Melon Flat, Melon Spikes Flat and Rossini Flat. Standout Autumn/Winter 2016’s fabrications and embellishments including edgy Flanelle Camouflage and new matte Floque spikes add archetypical Christian Louboutin flair.

Created from a TPU rubber injection mold, Christian Louboutin lug soles are comprised of multiple layers of rubber components, finished with a flash the brand’s signature red. A thin red line appears on the finition of the shoe, giving a glimpse at the iconic red sole that lies beneath whilst adding a subtle yet alluring detail to the base. The rubber soles don specially molded pyramid stud and chain motifs that emulate custom hardware accents seen throughout the men’s collection. Merging function and form, the thicker rubber soles add an extra layer of support and comfort for the man about town, while upholding a chic appearance appropriate for day or night.
