UK designer Stella McCartney to launch her first kids' clothing line

British fashion designer Stella McCartney has announced she is launching her own line of children's wear this fall.

Stella McCartney Kids will launch in early November and will adhere "to the designer's signature modern aesthetic and ethical values," a statement said.

"I wanted to create a desirable, fun, wearable kids collection that was affordable. I feel like all the timeless children's wear is reserved for the expensive brands and that did not sit well with me," said the 39-year-old daughter of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney
