Top 4 Fall/Winter 2015 womenswear trends by Bershka
Fall Winter 2015 at Bershka features a young, casual collection with an urban feel, where the richness of the fabrics and details on the finishes of the clothes will be the common thread of the season. The use of materials is reinvented, enriching them with new finishes such as the worn leather effect or stamped suede, as well as the return of more rustic materials such as velvet and woollen fabrics.
Long fit silhouettes are key for this season, with the overlapping and mixing of textures. Tricot plays an important role as a total look with cardigan versions and extra long jackets. Halter and high neck tops are still on trend and can be worn with all the looks within the collection.
Denim is present in a more destroyed version, fitting in with all of this winter’s collections with new stonewashed effects and more comfortable fits such as loose and girlfriend, not forgetting about the more figure-hugging skinny silhouettes.
The main profiles are divided into four different trends.
DARK VICTORIAN
The historical influence of the Victorian era is mixed with more of a rock slant, creating a feminine, urban look. A sexy, daring, exceptionally cool girl.
Delicate fabrics such as blonde lace are mixed with leather and suede with metal chain and eyelet details incorporated into the garments, giving them a more elaborate finish.
The collection is based on black mixed with melange greys and metal finishes, creating clothes that enhance the richness of textures and highlight the importance of details.
ETHNIC
The return of the most rustic fabrics, traditional elements and the fusion of ethnic and urban influences give this collection a comfortable, easy, relaxed look.
The clothes are finished to a high level of detail with rich textures, in which tricot and woollen fabrics play a very important role. Ecru and toasted shades are combined with touches of black and geometric prints on ponchos and jackets.
NEOMILITARY
Military concepts are back on trend this winter, with a nod to details such as army stripes on coats and camouflage prints.
The military aspect is added to the collection in a subtle way but it is a striking feature of this season’s fashion, khaki being the main colour for these clothes.
BOHEMIAN BAROQUE
A sophisticated, feminine look with the baroque influence seen in its fabrics and details for an urban, modern girl.
The richness of details appears once again in this collection with embroidered finishes in gold and silver effect thread mixed with sequins and studs.
Devoré velvet will be back, as will glimmers from Lurex, which will feature prominently in jumpers. Natural colours, greys, khakis and the return of burgundy will come together this season.
