Marco Balich awarded the highest recognition of Kazakhstan

The Order of Kurmet has been awarded to Marco Balich by the Government of Kazakhstan. This mark of excellent distinction is presented in recognition of the professional contribution that Balich gave to Kazakhstan by presenting to the whole world the Nation that will host the next Expo in 2017, through the ceremony for the 550th Anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate.

Kazakh President Nazarbaev and the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Kazakhstan commissioned to Balich Worldwide Shows the historical national celebration that took place on September 11th, at the Barys Ice Arena in Astana, for an exclusive audience, amongst which authorities and Head of States. The ceremony unraveled the history of Kazakhstan, its traditions and innovation, starting from the book of its President Nursulan Abishevich Nazarbayev “Tarikh Tolkynda”.

In a six-week preparation time, Balich Worldwide Shows realised an outstanding live show to experience the history of the “Eternal Country”. The group of international professionals from BWS has been able to stage a show that involved 5000 characters, played by the best actors and dancers of the nation.

Established in 1993, the Order of Kurmet is awarded to people who have exhibited merit in the fields of economics, science, culture, social issues and education. The award ceremony was broadcasted on the Kazakh national tv.
