BLOSSOM PREMIÈRE VISION RETURNS IN JUNE AGAINST A STRATEGIC BACKDROP FOR THE LUXURY SECTOR
The luxury goods market has been experiencing a slowdown since last year, affecting a sector that has been particularly spared by crises until now, and prompting luxury houses to rethink their strategy at a time of major change for the fashion industry as a whole.
Against this backdrop, Blossom Première Vision, the exclusive event dedicated to the pre-collections of luxury and premium fashion brands, has chosen to reposition its edition in June for the first time since 2020, in order to better respond to the challenges and needs of the luxury industry, for which pre-collections remain more than ever a strategic lever.
On 4 and 5 June, the show will take place in the heart of Paris at the Carreau du Temple, bringing together some 80 exhibitors, weavers, tanners and accessory manufacturers, all specially selected for their quality and creativity, but also their ability to industrialise their production for the needs of the luxury goods industry. They will be previewing their pre-collections for the AW 26-27 season in 4 universes: fabrics, leather, accessories and savoir-faire.
luxury goods industry, will be the best represented, with 87% of exhibitors. Japan, Portugal, the UK, Germany and Spain will also be represented.
Florence Rousson, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Première Vision and CEO of The Creative Pole, the fashion division of the GL events group:
« I'm delighted to be celebrating the return of Blossom Première Vision in June, to accompany the luxury houses. At a time when certainties have sometimes been shattered, this event enables all parties in the sector to come together, find inspiration and inventiveness in a particularly selective offering, and benefit from innovations and services tailored to meet their challenges. Through this complementary edition, Blossom PV aims to be a first-rate partner for luxury industry players, alongside them. »
A REDESIGNED, TAILOR-MADE PROGRAM FOR LUXURY HOUSES
• The very first Trends Forum to launch the AW26-27 season
For the first time, Blossom PV is hosting a trends forum. It will showcase the work of exhibitors and unveil a preview of the colour range, which will be officially presented at Première Vision Paris in September.
Blossom PV becomes THE laboratory for exploring future trends, opening the doors to the season around the theme of ‘Synesthesia’ with the desaturated shades of Première Vision's AW26-27 colour range.
• Highlighting know-how as the driving force behind creation
The show will offer an insight into the specific savoir-faire of craftspeople who work with luxury brands. These are exhibitors who do not create collections, but rather offer tailor-made creations for the major houses. They will embody the universe of Savoir-Faire at Blossom:
— Promesh : Using ring mesh, scale mesh and fabric, Promesh reinvents architectural design using innovative materials.
— Authentic Material : Transforming raw material deposits into exceptional materials, Authentic Material has developed unique know-how in textile finishing using patented technologies.
— Studio 1886 : Combining traditional know-how with modern innovation, Studio1886 offers design, production, textile finishing and co-creation services to transform creative ideas into finished products.
— Ricami Laura : A family-run Italian workshop specialising in hand embroidery, Ricami Laura uses treadle machines from the 1970s to create unique embroideries for the biggest fashion houses.
• Exclusive Masterclasses
Hosted by Première Vision's fashion and forecasting teams, a third season of exclusive Material Masterclasses will take place on 4 June, in the form of workshops for sharing ideas on the fabrics and trends for autumn-winter 26-27, by invitation only.
Each masterclass is an opportunity to share expertise and explore responsible sourcing solutions, advances in sustainable innovation and new development possibilities.
— Leather and pelts Masterclass, moderated by Carine Montarras, leather specialist with the Première Vision fashion team.
— Fabrics Masterclass, moderated by Ariane Bigot, assistant fashion director at Première Vision and fabric expert.
COCKTAIL
To round off the first day, a cocktail reception will be held from 6pm at the Carreau du Temple. This will be an opportunity for exhibitors and visitors to get together in a warm atmosphere, perfect for marking the end of this first stage of the event.
