h+h cologne 2019 colours up the business

It is time once again from 29 to 31 March 2019: Specialised trade visitors from all over the globe will meet up at h+h cologne to inform themselves about the latest trends in the textile handicraft industry. Next year things are going to be particularly colourful. Because this time the motto of the event zone "my lovely livingroom" is "colour your business!". Under this title, in the event and workshop programme h+h cologne 2019 is placing a special focus on current and successful approaches for customer acquisition, sales promotions and customer loyalty.

For example, in his lecture Prof. Dr. Ingo Markgraf will address the question "The digital generation - is there any hope for the smartphone junkies?" and will explain what the specialised dealers can do to understand the young generation better and win them over as customers. Markgraf teaches Business Psychology, Brand Communications and Advertising at the Macromedia High School in Cologne. In addition to his teaching activities at the Macromedia High School, he also works as a marketing and strategy consultant.

What does the customer think? What does he want? How can I win him over? These are the questions that every dealer would like to know the answer to. At h+h cologne the specialised dealers can get closer to finding an answer to these questions. In his lecture entitled "Marketing is done differently today", the sales and marketing specialist, Uwe B?rder, will explain what one has to know or do in this connection. This is how to read the minds of your customers." The trade visitors of h+h can learn what emotions can contribute towards this in his second lecture. The title of the lecture is "Target group people - how emotions promote your sales".

Of course, the theme social media and how it should be implemented correctly to make one's business more successful, doesn't get a raw deal either. For instance, the stylist and set designer, Tanja Kosub, gives the trade visitors plenty of tips on the Red Sofa, as to how "to professionally arrange sales-boosting photo presentations for the shop, blog and social media." And Tanja Kosub knows what she is talking about because she styles and develops concepts for companies from the fashion, interior, home textile and household sections. Her clients include Kaufhof, as well as S'Oliver and dm.

Visitors, who don't know what IGTV means or that one can shop via Instagram should definitely not miss the lecture by Michaela Ioannou. The social media expert specialises in Facebook and Instagram and among others advises diverse companies, retailers and online shops. She has been a Facebook ambassador since 2016 and knows how the buying behaviour can have a positive effect on customers through good contents. At h+h cologne 2019 she explains how specialised dealers can create a new shopping experience for their customers using Instagram, Instagram Shopping and IGTV (short for Instagram TV).

Of course, the popular Trendwatches won't be missing from the agenda next year. For example, Ann-Christin Trost, Head of Color and Trend Advisory at Coloro, a subsidiary of the trend research institute, WGSN, will present the colours, trends and inspirations that will be the potential bestsellers in 2019 on the stage. Katja Speer's theme is sustainable new trade fair items. The trained PR Manager has been advising companies in the area of corporate and product communications for many years. Her special subject is "Sustainability". She has excellent industry and market knowledge, especially in the fashion, cosmetics & design, hobby, handicrafts and home textiles sections. The fashion designer, Anke M?ller's trend selection focuses on the "Trend colours of the season that will colour your business."

Creativity is set no limits in the scope of the workshops either. The offer that targets professional creative managers, who are looking for new impulses or who would like to further educate themselves on the creative scene, picks up on current trends and turns them into textile projects that make ideal customer loyalty schemes. All of the workshops are being organised and marketed directly by Koelnmesse. Tickets will be available shortly from the Ticket Shop of h+h cologne at www.hh-cologne.com A compete overview of the workshop offers and the guests on the Talk Sofa will also be available shortly on the Internet at www.hh-cologne.com.
