Maria Bakalova Shines on the Cover of VOGUE for January 2025

Actress Maria Bakalova has been chosen as the face of the January issue of Vogue Czech Republic and Slovakia, which will be released at the beginning of 2025. She shared the news on social media, writing: "One of my biggest dreams has come true. I am so excited to share with you my first Vogue cover! Print edition for January 2025. Thank you, Vogue CS," and shared a photo of the cover.

In an interview for the magazine, Maria reveals her motivation: "I am determined to work as much as possible because I know there is already a line of people behind me who want to take my place."

In the editorial announcement, Vogue CS writes: "She first caught our attention with her performance in the film 'Borat 2,' which brought her international recognition and an Oscar nomination. Maria is not someone who leaves anything to chance. Determined not to be confined to stereotypical roles, she embraces a wide range of roles with open arms and challenges herself as an actor."
