Designers from Two Continents Will Participate in Ruse Fashion Week 2026
On April 2 and 3, the lobby of Ruse Central Railway Station will be transformed into a fashion stage for the runway shows of the second edition of Ruse Fashion Week / RFW Ruse Fashion Week, organized by the Bulgarian fashion portal Fashion.bg.

Nineteen fashion designers and brands will present their latest spring-summer collections, many of which have been created especially for the event and will be shown to the public for the first time. Guests will enjoy the collections of Atelier Banderol, Benmodel, Fashion Atelier Galidona, Danini, Dessa Thea Brenjens, Ivan Donev, Ignis, Lowky Broken, Miss Queen, Fashion with a Mission (Bardaro and Cantarelli), Mona Grace, Rosi and Tasquira.

This year, the event is taking an important step forward by becoming an international fashion platform. Alongside designers from all over Bulgaria, collections will also be presented by designers from two continents – AladinosFashion from Italy, SABINNE from Romania, Guy-David Lambrechts from Belgium, EMELYA and Büşra Canay from Turkey, and DE JIN ZHOU JIN from China.

“We have invited designers and brands that focus on quality, durability, and the emotional value of their products, use mainly natural materials or those that can be easily recycled, and maintain responsible management of unsold products. Our goal, by presenting these sustainable collections to a wide audience, is also to encourage consumers to make more responsible choices when purchasing clothing,” shared Silvia Kabaivanova, organizer of Ruse Fashion Week. “To support designers’ efforts in this direction, the Bulgarian Fashion Association will once again present its award in support of sustainable fashion,” added Silvia, who is also Chairwoman of the Bulgarian Fashion Association.
The chosen location for the fashion shows—Ruse Railway Station—is also in line with the philosophy of Ruse Fashion Week to promote sustainable fashion and responsible environmental practices, as rail transport is one of the most eco-friendly ways of travel.
As in the first edition of Ruse Fashion Week, special interpretations of authentic Ruse outfits from the beginning of the last century will be presented specifically for the event—a period when the ladies of Ruse introduced Viennese chic into their clothing and set fashion trends in Bulgaria. For the 2026 edition, this task has been entrusted to designer Daniela Georgieva (Art Boutique DANA VITAN). The original outfits are part of the collection of the “Ethnography” department at the Regional History Museum – Ruse.
We remind you that Ruse Fashion Week 2026 will start on March 28 with a creative workshop for young people, during which participants will create unique prints. This year’s workshop theme is “The Beauty of Ruse,” and a preliminary competition for drawings and illustrations has been announced.
On April 1, a CreativeLab workshop for emerging designers will be held at PGO "Nedka Ivan Lazarova", led by top designer Ivan Donev. It is part of an event under the FEA-VEE project, in which the Bulgarian Fashion Association is a partner, together with organizations from Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Romania, Spain, and Sweden. Opportunities will be presented for Bulgarian designers to explore the current state of the fashion sector in Europe via the online Knowledge Center at fea-vee.eu and to download guides and reports supporting sustainability in the fashion/textile industry.
