15 years specialty "Fashion design" in Free University of Varna "Chernorizetc Hrabar"

Almost 15 years Free University of Varna "Chernorizetc Hrabar" supports young and talanted people in Bulgaria, whom dream of professional realization in fashion area and producing clothes.

In 1994 Free University of Varna "Chernorizetc Hrabar" had begun fashion training with creating the specialty "Fashion design". Successfully graduated young designers have realization in different directions in fashion area like designers, fashion stylists, technologists, fashion photographers, teachers. The most bold of them try to find their own creative and business path via opening an own fashion companies.

Around 100 students from I till IV course from the specialty "Fashion design" present original owner's models, filled with fashion imagination, audacious challenge and diversity of ideas. Young designers have shown their projects on the following themes: „Dolls” - for I course, „The man” - for II course, „Camiknickers” - for III course, „Coat” – for IV course. Amounts for becoming high results in this school year and perfect presenting in the catwalk were given to the excellent young students. Fort the first time were given amounts for MISS and MISTER REVIEW 2009 for the best artistic presentation of a young designer's models.

The last important news is that The Free University of Varna is the first and only one Bulgarian University certified with a special European sign for quality and acknowledgment in education “DS Label”.
