Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina is launching a shoe range.
Dina will collaborate with Long Island-based company I Love My Shoes for the line, which she has called Shoe-han.
I Love My Shoes founder and president, Robert Yeganeh, said: "She will do a radio and TV commercial and she will sit in on the casting call to find two or three hot girls we need for the commercial.
"Although she won't be the designer of the line, she'll definitely have a major influence in which direction it will go."
Dina is expected to confirm her latest venture at a press conference in New York today (08.10.09).
The 47-year-old TV personality is hoping to have some designs in US stores in time for Mother's Day next May.
A larger collection of affordably-priced shoes is scheduled to be available by Autumn 2010.
Yeganeh added: "Dina has definitely got a good eye and she's got it together.
"She may not be followed as a fashionista but if the shoes are designed right and priced under $100 they will sell."
Dina's foray into fashion has seemingly been inspired by her actress daughter.
Last week, 'Mean Girls' star Lindsay launched her debut fashion collection at Paris Fashion Week.
Although her collaboration with Ungaro, where she is artistic advisor, was received a lukewarm reception, Lindsay insists she was thrilled by the experience.
She said: "I feel like it's pretty much a fairytale. It's certainly more than I could have ever imagined, more than I'd ever hoped for.
"I couldn't be happier. Seeing everything pulled together is simply amazing. The last five days have just been so crazy, chaotic."
