Bulgarian fashion designer Dessislava Goranova - one of the 17 winners in 19th edition of the competition Mittelmoda

The winners of the 19th edition of Mittelmoda that took place in Gorizia on July 1, 2011 were 17 and came from all over the world. One of them was the Bulgarian designer Dessislava Plamenova Goranova. She was born on 12.07.1983 in Sofia and now studies at "Accademia di Belle Arti Lorenzo da Viterbo".

The other winners were:
Four Italians: Gea Antonini and Federica Croce from "Accademia di Costume e Moda", Petra Dorigoni from "Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti" and Federico De Peppo from "Accademia d'Alta Moda Koefia"; two English from the University of Northumbria, Laura Jane Bailey and Jennifer Moore; Australian Bronwyn O'Brien from University of Technology; Norwegian Jon Sofferud from Royal Academy of Fine Arts; Ukranian Alexander Panasenko and Israeli Gal Shenfeld Krasowsky, both from Shenkar School of ngineering and Design in Israel; Korean Seung Ik Lee from Domus Academy in Milano; Swedish Anna Falk from "Accademia Italiana" and Ida Klamborn from the University of Boras; New Zealander Marie Kelly from Massey University, winner of the contest dedicated to Mittelmoda at the Id Dunedin Emerging Awards held last April 7 in New Zealand; Portuguese Susana Lopes from London College of Fashion and lastly Puerto Rican Zaida Adriana Goveo Balmaseda.
