Volvo Moscow Fashion Week 2012

Volvo Moscow Fashion Week was opened on Wednesday with the demonstration of a new collection by the Russian fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin.

Yudashkin said that while working on his collection he was inspired by “the expressiveness of rock music”, which materialized in hard silhouettes and a rich color gamut. The collection has already been presented at Paris Fashion Week.

In the first days of the fashion week visitors also saw the collections of Russian designers Doroshenko, Migle Janusaite, Anastasia Zadorina, Alexey Vlasov, Poluhina and others.

Visitors at the Moscow fashion marathon will see 40 collections in total, including those by Russian designers Yelena Vasilieva, Kirill Gassilin and Ilya Shiyan. The fashion week will finish on 9 April.
