Bulgarian representative in the finals of the Global Fashion Awards 2013
As well as the fashion industry elite, the awards attract high-profile style leaders and celebrities.
Global Fashion Awards aims to reward the most outstanding and innovative design in the world of fashion, but also best Retail practices (online and offline), eco fashion and accessories.
Previous winners of the prestigious award are Victoria Beckham, Kim Johnes for Louis Vuiton, Erdem, Charolette Olympia, Mr. Porter, Acne.
Global Fashion Awards pays attention to the future hopes of the fashion world in two categories: Brand and individual designer. This year's panel of judges, who selected the finalists, is composed of 62 judges, including designer Bora Aksu, Giles Deacon and Rebecca Minkoff, model Laura Bailey, the photographer Rankin, Susie Forbes (Conde Nast), David Watts of the British Fashion Council and others.
Irina Lazova from Bulgaria has been selected for 'The Lycra - Future Designer Award' category.
She graduated from London College of Fashion in June, 2013. Previously, she has a BA in Public Relations and considerable experience in the field of advertising.
These activities have helped her to build her design style, modern and bold, but still focused on the consumer interest.
Her collection, which participates in the race, is described as' luxury sportswear' or sportswear for non-practicing women.
Irina offers unusual suggestions - she combines spandex with organza and waterproof materials.
The winner will be announced on October 30, 2013 at the 'Victoria & Albert' Museum. Access to the event is by VIP invitation-only.
