Paris Fashion Week twice a year with more than 200 fashion shows

Paris Fashion Week is a clothing trade show held semi-annually in Paris, France with Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter events held each year. Dates are determined by the French Fashion Federation. Currently, Fashion Week is held in the Carrousel du Louvre, as well as at various other venues throughout the city.

Paris Fashion Week is part of the Big 4 fashion weeks internationally, the others being London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. The schedule begins with New York, followed by London, and then Milan, and ending the events in Paris.

Each season, the most famous designers presents the fall-winter and spring-summer Haute Couture collections, and women’s and men’s ready to wear.

Every year, in January and July, Paris hosts some 30 Haute Couture fashion shows and 40 menswear shows. In March and October, there are 150 fashion shows for women’s ready-to-wear.

The next edition of Paris Fashion Week will be held from 23th of September to 1st October where the designers are going to present their Spring/Summer 2015 Ready-to-Wear collections.
