The 19-year old Ivayla Bakalova from the city of Varna became "Miss Bulgaria 2001"

The 19-year old Ivayla Bakalova from the city of Varna became "Miss Bulgaria" for this year and she will represent Bulgaria in the "Miss Universe" concurs in Puerto Rico.< br />
The jury comprised the president of the Bulgarian Football Union Ivan Slavkov, the sculptor Vejdi Rashidov, fashion photographers, editors, producers. They chose Ivayla Bakalova because of her womanhood and her measures 92–63–88 cm.
