The first lavera Green Fashion Award winner announced
Celebrities such as Jade Jagger, Ornella Muti, Noah and Lilly Becker, Anastasia Guseva, Bernhardt Brink and Anne-Marie Eilfeld experienced Green Glamour on stage at the lavera Showfloor, together with a large attendance of fashion enthusiasts. Some 3 000 guests attended the fully booked eco-fashion event on July 9, 2015 in Berlin's ewerk and had an up-close view of sustainable fashion collections presented by fantastic national and international designers. Up-and-coming designer Ina Budde won the first lavera Green Fashion Award.
With the lavera Showfloor on July 9, 2015, lavera Naturkosmetik has once again demonstrated that fashion and cosmetics go together. Following the theme Celebrating Natural Beauty, German designer labels MICHAEL SONTAG and LUXAA, as well as British label TAMMAM presented their sustainable fashion collections. All models were styled using NATRUE-certified make-up by lavera Naturkosmetik
The 6th lavera Showfloor kicked-off at 3pm with the MICHAEL SONTAG fashion show. The German designer creates timeless, laid-back elegant looks for women who love the extraordinary. Conscious handling of resources as well as local production and sales in Berlin are an integral part of the company's philosophy. At 5:30 pm, the London couture fashion label TAMMAM presented its ethical high-end fashion. The 2015/16 collection is reminiscent of the Golden Age of couture, modernised with contemporary details, sustainable fabrics and creative cuts. Following a DJ set with Noah Becker starting at 7:30 pm at the ewerk, fashion label LUXAA presented its latest eco fashion collection 'Baltik' from 8:30 pm. The collection interprets the changing Baltic landscape of white dunes and craggy cliff formations in the form of lightweight transparencies, cool colours and traditionally straightforward patterns, flanked by fine tailoring details.
lavera Naturkosmetik was particularly delighted to present the lavera Award for the very first time to especially talented up-and-coming designers. Of the three finalists, Ina Budde, Rike Henties and Christine Mayer, Ina Budde was crowned the winner of the first lavera Green Fashion Award by the jury.
Fashion designer Ina Budde creates healthy, functional, and at the same time aesthetic and intelligent design solutions for durable, recyclable fashion. In order to support the vision of a closed textile cycle without waste and new material input, the designer developed FUTURE-PROOF - a certified, environmentally friendly and recyclable collection, as well as EXTENDED CLOSED LOOP - a fashion cycle system model. The young designer received prize money for the creation and production of her own collection to be presented at the lavera Showfloor in January 2016.
