The Polimoda fashion show: Separate Collection
On June 12 at 10pm at the Manifattura Tabacchi – future Polimoda’s headquarter, there is a rendezvous with the up-and-coming talents of fashion. At the Polimoda Fashion Show 2018: Separate Collection, the 20 best graduate collections realized by Fashion Design students of the respected institute will be presented in front of an audience of fashion insiders and an international jury.

ICON presents the ICONIC CLUB event
The magazine ICON presents an event dedicated to Iconic Club – the association that protects and promotes iconic products in fashion industry; on the evening of 12th June, the extraordinary location of the Pagliere delle Ex Scuderie Reali will become energized thanks to a live-set by Nicky Siano, dance music pioneer and iconic first resident DJ of New York City’s Studio 54.

The event for the 50th anniversary of L'Uomo Vogue
On 12 June a party held at the Serre Torrigiani in Florence will celebrate the return to the newsstand of L’Uomo Vogue. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the historic Cond? Nast publication, L’Uomo will present itself with a totally revamped editorial formula and, for the first time, in English in order to mark out its role as world ambassador for Italian men’s style. A curious note: in the first issue, the five fashion stories have been entrusted to five women photographers – an original female point of view of contemporary men’s style.

Istituto Marangoni: two events on the occasion of Pitti Uomo 94
The Istituto Marangoni will play a starring role in Florence with two rendezvous dedicated to men’s fashion: on Monday 11 June the best students from the schools in Milan, London and Paris as well as Armando Costa, the winner of the first edition of I’M Alumni Collections (R)evolution, will present their menswear collections on the catwalk ; on Thursday 14 June, the school will host a talk on the most topical themes linked to the world of fashion with Sara Sozzani Maino and Ermanno Scervino.

RITMOEMOTIVO, the new book by Stefano Chiassai
Stefano Chiassai, the fashion designer and creative director, is a tireless collector of garments and materials connected with fashion with an archive of over 15,000 items. On Wednesday 13 June at the Fortezza da Basso, he will present his second book “RITMOEMOTIVO, EVERYTHING CHANGES a modern man’s wardrobe”, a new chapter which is linked to the creation of a series of timeless outfits experimenting with and contaminating periods, shapes and materials.

Plus, in the days of Pitti Uomo a series of events will enlighten the city of Firenze and its most exclusive venues, such as the opening of Giorgio Armani boutique in via de’ Tornabuoni, the event by Ermanno Scervino.
