L.B.M 1911 showed their Spring/Summer 2020 collection during Pitti Uomo 96

The Spring/Summer 2020 collection features a range of highly technical garments: the TRAVEL SPORT UNIFORM capsule collection successfully combines tailored style and high-tech details, with a selection of garments made of crease-resistant, quick-dry technical textiles designed for casual, dynamic men who expect maximum comfort both in and out of urban contexts, and at the same time are eager to showcase their distinctive style.

The OUTERWEAR selection has also been expanded with the same approach in mind, and features sleek, casual trench coats, both single and double-breasted, military-style field jackets, as well as easy-wear Jersey jackets and lightweight bomber jackets.

FABRICS: Lubiam's creative team has continued its meticulous search for the most innovative fabrics and treatments to make them more elastic, naturally stretch and increasingly comfortable. New proposals for the Spring/Summer season include high-quality, digitally-printed, knitwear-effect Jersey fabrics adorned with contrasting edges. Yarns used in this collection include luxurious cotton, linen and wool blends with touches of silk to add iridescent effects. Every single garment combines luxurious style, advanced performance and perfect fit. Jersey, in pure cotton or in a cotton and linen blend, is one of the protagonists for the season, meeting the demands of the most discerning customers who pay attention to even the smallest details. The collection experiments with new influences and borrows fabrics typically used in women's fashion: Tencel, a sustainable, environment-friendly fibre with a particularly soft hand-feel, blended with linen and cotton, is perfect for jackets and vests.

COLOURS: The Spring/Summer 2020 season sees a comeback of optic white and more generally neutral colours, canvas, cream and ivory. Warm hues have a distinctive presence: yellow adds a burst of energy in its various nuances, including honey, mustard and ochre, but also burnt colours like brick red and orange.
There is no lack of pastel hues, which lend a discreet, subtle touch. Staples of the spring/summer collection are pale, delicate nuances that can be mixed and matched to express one's style, character and a wish to stand out from the crowd in a sophisticated way.

As part of the L.B.M.1911 S/S 2020 collection, Lubiam's creative team has also designed a women's capsule collection that will most likely be further expanded in the forthcoming seasons. The women's capsule collection currently features two jackets with totally different fits and volumes: an unstructured, singlebreasted jacket with large, contrasting buttons, presented in fresh, modern colours like cassis, and a double-breasted, 1980's inspired jacket with padded shoulders.

PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO 96 - the 96th edition of the menswear fair was a great success: Florence saw the L.B.M.1911 booth as protagonist.
