Jean Paul Gaultier created a special luxury collection of lingerie for La Perla

The world famous French designer Jean Paul Gaultier, who invented the cone bra for Madonna, has designed a high-end lingerie range for La Perla, scheduled to release in November at select La Perla and Gaultier boutiques, and select department stores.

The collection consist of two limited edition pieces for the Italian brand, including a backstitch satin bra with a shoulder-strap motif and the designer will feature one of the looks in his couture show in Paris on July 7.

"Lingerie is part of my DNA and of my heritage," Gaultier said in a press release.
