Marc Jacobs admits he needs ''stimulation'' when it comes to his designs, as he can't create masterpieces out of a ''blank piece of paper''.
Marc Jacobs needs "stimulation" to be a successful.
The fashion designer - who is creative designer for French luxury label Louis Vuitton - admitted he finds it difficult to create pieces from just a "blank piece of paper", and so he seeks inspiration from various facets of his life.
He explained: "I'm terrible with a bank piece of paper. But give me a red piece of paper and I would say that would be nice with a black line through the centre.
