MET Gala 2013 - New York's 'Fashion Oscars'
On Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, were shown famous designers’ most breathtaking creations during the Costume Institute Gala exhibition "PUNK: Chaos to Couture". The annual event was co-chaired this year by Rooney Mara and Beyoncé, who was glamorous on the red carpet with long dress in black and flamy orange!
Miley Cyrus felt punk perfectly in a Marc Jacobs sheer netted number, with outrageous hair.
Anne Hathaway, in platinum-dyed hair, said the godmother of punk, Debbie Harry, was her inspiration for the night. She was dressed in a 1992 vintage Valentino.
Canadian actress and model of Bulgarian origin,Nina Dobrev, did the punk look with a pair of black patent Elba pumps by Rupert Sanderson.
Other world famous fashion houses whose models were chosen for the night are Dolce & Gabanna, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Carolina Herrera, Anthony Vaccarello, Givenchy.
