USA International Emmy Awards 2016 - A Black-Tie Gala event
Author: Silvia K.The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners of the 44th International Emmy® Awards at a Black-Tie Gala event attended by television professionals from around the world and hosted by Alan Cumming at the New York Hilton.
Dustin Hoffman & German Actress Christiane Paul Win Best Performance Categories. German and British programs led the night with 3 Emmys each in the Best Performance by An Actress, Documentary and Drama Series categories for German programs and Best Performance by An Actor, Comedy and TV Movie/ Mini-Series categories for British programs.
Programs from Brazil (Telenovela), Japan (Arts Programming), Sweden (Non-Scripted Entertainment) and the United States (Non-English Language US Primetime Program), each won one Emmy.
