Golden Globes 2014 - celebrities' garments

The 71st Golden Globe Awards, honoring the best in film and American television of 2013, were broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on January 12, 2014, by NBC.

Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift, Amy Adams and Amber Heard did attract the attention with high-waisted bare shoulders dresses but in different colours.

Amy looked pretty eye catching in a plunging two toned Valentino red gown, Reese was wearing a sleek Calvin Klein aqua sleeveless gown and Amber Heard was with navy blue one shouldered Versace gown split to the thigh, while Taylor Swift looked particularly old Hollywood in a redish pink Carolina Herrera gown with black top.

Julia Roberts looked classy and stylish with a white short underneath a strapless black Dolce & Gabbana gown and glittering belt. Her colleague Sandra Bullock was wearing an unusual striped Prabal Gurung creation.

Nominee Cate Blanchett looked typically stylish in lacy black Valentino with a plunging back, while Mila Kunis looked glamorous in her sequinned Gucci dress.
Pregnant Olivia Wilde sported a clinging Gucci garment over her blossoming baby bump.
Jessica Chastain's choice was a black strapless Givenchy gown combined with a silver necklace.

Kate Beckinsale showed off her perfect figure in a Zuhair Murad fishtail gown and Uma Thurman showed off a tiny waist in a Atelier Versace black silk and lace dress.

Naomi Watts sported a slinky Tom Ford champagne gown with a chunky gold neck detail, while Emma Watson wore a unconventional red Christian Dior gown with a pair of black leggings.
