Sexy Spanish style for Spring-Summer 2015 by Dolce & Gabbana
Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana presented its Spring-Summer 2015 womenswear collection on September 21, 2014 in Italy during the Milan Fashion Week.
This season the reference is to the Spanish invasion of Sicily, which began in the 15th century.
The collection includes curve-skimming dresses and underwear-inspired pieces, but 'it's not sexy aggressive', Gabbana said. 'We have a lot of bad news every day. Fashion needs to reflect the world … but sometimes you need to have a dream', he added.
'After a 200-year occupation the Spanish left a lot of things: baroque, religion, colour, flowers', Stefano Gabbana commented. And all these elements can be seen in the brand's SS15 garments.
The main colors are hot red, dramatical black, pure white and royal gold.
Dolce & Gabbana Spring-Summer 2015 collection includes: matador-style jackets, fringed capes, flamenco-style layered polka-dot dresses, white bullfighter shirts, embellished bloomers, black bra tops, gold corsets, lace, embroidered roses, heavy gold hearts, a hint of denim.
Accessories includes: colorful art-inspired box-like lady bags, fashion dolls in perspex boxes, castanets in hair, long earrings, belts, crystal-crusted heels.
