BMX Dior Homme and Bogarde
Dior Homme and French BMX specialists Bogarde are joining together for a collaboration centred around three bikes, the second of which is available as one of 100 numbered pieces. Taking inspiration from motocross wheel dimensions, this second exclusive, gold-finished creation echoes the design codes of Dior Homme, including details in black and white as well as a bee engraved on the hand grips. Made in France, this bike displays leather details which feature the "Dior" signature, created by Dior in Italy.

Kim Jones is officially Dior Homme’s new artistic director. The British designer who stepped down from his coveted role at Louis Vuitton earlier this year will become the successor to Kris Van Assche who had previously held the position for eleven years.

“The idea of ‘the hybrid’ is intrinsic to the collection,” says Kris Van Assche. “Today, people don’t just fit into one box, they fit into many and all at once. There might be an idea of the New Wave or Skate that somebody has grown up with, but it is what those things and people have grown into now that matters. Traces of memory and tradition can still exist, but these happen without nostalgia: this is the hybridisation of now.”
Belgian fashion: Kris Van Assche
Kris Van Assche was born in Belgium in 1976. After graduating from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, he moved to Paris in 1998. Having worked for Yves Saint Laurent then Dior Homme, he started his own label KRISVANASSCHE in January 2005. He has also been the Artistic Director for Dior Homme since April 2007.
