bold... For the 25 years of work she achieved a lot.
She is three times winner of the award "Golden Needle", given by the
Bulgarian Academy of fashion, for several years she was creating the
toilets for the "Miss World" Bulgaria contests, she has been an official
designer of "Miss Bulgaria".
Jana Jekova made a photo session in Rome
In front of the Castle Sant'Angelo the most famous Bulgarian designer Jana Jekova shot models of her new collection.
The stylist was in Rome regarding an Evening of the Bulgarian Fashion. Just hours before the start of the catwalk the designer shot some of her most successful models from her latest collection.
Lavazza A Modo Mio
Tens of celebrities and journalists from leading Bulgarian media gathered at the residence of the Italian Embassy on the occasion of the presentation of the exclusive innovatve espresso system Lavazza A modo mio. Giuseppe Lavazza, vice-president and marketing director of Lavazza was a special guest at the event. He introduced to all the attendants the philosophy and abilities of the new espresso system. Each guest had the possibility to taste the incredible espresso tastes of A Modo Mio.
Simple beauty or new subject in Bulgarian fashion
Fashion specialists are categorical: for the new season you must chose simple beauty, candy colors and lots of flowers. The classic combination between black and white is interpreted in original way in the propositions of the fashion designers and presents a new, modern outlook. These tendencies are seen in the new collection spring-summer 2009 of Jana Jekova. The dynamic color palette interprets the colorful range of the rainbow. It passes through candy colors as turquoise blue and cyclamen, sunny orange-gold tonality and reaches dark purple and metallic. The dresses are mainly made of silk, lace and hand-written materials. The designer uses again high class fabrics such as luxurious Italian silk.

On 21 October 2003 in the Fashion House of
the well-known Bulgarian designer Jana
Jekova was carried out a press conference in
connection with her ascertainment that a
design of her has won an award for higher
fashion in Vienna under somebody else’s
authorship.
The representatives of the mass media were
acquainted with abundant photo and factual
material that proved unequivocally that the
awarded dress is a part of the designer’s autumn-winter 2000/2001 collection
(i.e., created before 3 years).
