We asked the Men's Fashion Cluster Ambassador Dandy to comment on the style of the celebrities on the red carpet, as he has a sharp eye for style and a witty language. Here is what he told us about the dress code of the celebrities attending the Emmy Awards 2016:
I think the time has passed when the best dressed men at the red carpet were only the ones dressed in Gucci or Armani. At least that's what most of the magazines that write about the red carpet were trying to convince us all the time. Now that men have many options to buy a custom made suit they can show some original style on the red carpet, not just wear black, don't you think? And it is a shame that most of them, even celebrities, still wear ill-fitting black ready-to-wear suits.
The Nastro d'Argento (Silver Ribbon) is an Italian film award - the oldest movie award in Europe. This year the awards ceremony was held at the Teatro Antico, Taormina, Sicily Island, Italy, on July 2, 2016. And what a surprise - all gentlemen were dressed in similar black suits, making them look one and the same.
