XVI International Festival of Coiffure and Beauty

XVI Annual edition of the Festival of Coiffure and Beauty was held on October 20, 2013 in Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Once again the biggest event in the hairdressing industry gathered together many professionals and connoisseurs of beauty from Bulgaria and abroad.

The latest trends in hairstyles for Fall-Winter 2013/2014 were presented - both in the competition, where young hairdressers competed and in the Show of Nations.

More than 120 participants took part in the contest in nine disciplines: Female modern hairstyle, Evening hairstyle, Female retro hairstyle, Male retro hairstyle, Bridal hairstyle, Modern youth hairstyle, Male modern hairstyle, Evening make-up and Avant-garde fashion.

The winners received certificates and many prizes from the event's partner companies. Young talents from Romania, Israel, Turkey, Germany, Italy and San Marino also participated in the competition program.

In the Show of Nations - the most opulent and attractive part of the festival, which was officially opened by Deputy Prime Minister Mrs. Daniela Bobeva - the masters of the field of 'Intercoiffure-Bulgaria' joined, as well as their younger colleagues from 'Guillaume-Bulgaria'.

After that hairdressers from Romania, Turkey, UK, Italy and San Marino, Ivan Ganev and Orlin Valyakov for 'Stylist Kapanov' and their colleagues from 'Christian of Roma' made a wonderful performance.

Boryana Sechanova (director of Ballet 'Arabesque') was a choreographer of the performances of 'Intercoiffure-Bulgaria' and the British hairdresser Kai Wang.

Models and the host of the Show of Nations, Netti, were wearing beautiful dresses by designer Zhana Zhekova.

Bridal hairstyle - Botescu Maria (Romania)
Evening make-up - Angel Petrishki (Bulgaria)
Avant-garde fashion - Mimi Ibramova (Bulgaria)
