Two McQueen’s dresses to be sold at auction
Two of the dresses from Alexander McQueen’s fall/winter 2007 collection, which was inspired by the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 are to be sold at auction in London.
The two evening gowns are among the first to be sold at auction since the tragic suicide of the British designer in February.
Julia Jurevich, Miss Bulgaria 2007, will present our country at the world fashion exhibition in Geneva
During the new photo session Julia was dressed in amazing knitted bridal dress. It is designed by Evgeni Petkov, who will present Bulgaria at the Eco Chic forum – a world fashion exhibition, which will be held in Geneva. 43 fashion designers will take part in this forum. Among them will be the famous designers Rick Owens and Diane von Furstenberg.
Evgeni Petkov's models are inspired by Bulgarian folklore. The dress, which he will present, was specially made by 100% natural fabrics. The knitting dress is unique because it was made by natural wool with linen lining. It is arranged with Eco-cotton tracery from Germany.
Charity fashion show of Markam
On March 15th from 18.00 o’clock, in the conference hall “Sredets” in “Sheraton” hotel, Fashion house “MARKAM” presented its new collection “Autumn-Winter 07/08”.
At the charity, which was held under the patronage of Mrs. Tsvetanka Kalfin, special participation took the violin player Ivan Staykov. He is the first musician in a charity campaign for helping talented young people, which MARKAM organizes.

The event was held on the eve of March, 8th at Charlino-Plaza Hotel in Ruse.
The elegant dresses were also presented on March, 11 at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
EDITH A'GAY collection Spring-Summer '07
A few day's ago Austrian/Hungarian fashion designer Edith A'Gay presented her new collection „Conversion“ spring-summer 2007 during the fashion week in Paris, in Espace Saint Martin. Edith A'Gay’s new collection is based on the principle of conversion. In the context of metamorphosis the outfits are variable due to the creativity of the person wearing them. This idea leads into the twilight zone of colourful fantasy and straight geometric silhouettes.
