The XIIth edition of Castilla y Leon fashion week will be held in March
From 9th to 11th March 2010 in Burgos, Spain will be held the XIIth edition of Castilla and Leon fashion week.
Collections womens, mens and children's clothes, underwear and swim wear, shoes and accessories for Spring/Summer 2010/2011 will be presenter by fashion brands and designers from Castilla and Leon, among which Maria Lafuente, Amaya Arzuaga, Esther Noriega, Ion Fiz, Nalia, Angel Iglesias, Javier Vicente, Anton & Moda, ORY, Teleno, Intima Farae, Evelyn, Lizetta etc.
Along with the fashion shows there is a commercial area, where the visitors and traders can see the collections closely, meet the designers and the managers of the fashion houses and make orders.

Esther Noriega showed her new spring-summer 2010 couture collection in Castilla y León Fashion Week on 7th October 2009 in Burgos.
In her new collection, the designer recalls the spirit of the 30’s that emerged during the Great Depression and draws an analogy between the old days and the present time. Originality in the selection of fabrics, stress on the feminine shape and wild range of accessories give her collection sophistication and simplicity, linked to serve imagination.
Castilla y Leon fashion week - second day
During the second day from Castilla y Leon fashion week the spectators had the pleasure to view underwear and swimsuit collections as well as formal women's fashion. Collections evening and cocktail dresses for Spring/Summer 2010 presented Angel Iglecias, Eulalia Mateos, Fely Campo and Esther Noriega.
Underwear and swim suits presented ORY, Teleno, Intima Farae, Lizetta and Evelyn. Beside plain models, the trendy patterns are stripes, dots and animal prints.

Rosalita Senoritas, Andrea Milan shoes, Rocio Mozo, by Imelda, Pamela, Marta
Valdespino, Ladybug, Di De Sant, Raquel Tomillo, Charo Peres, Concha Ceballos,
Javier Vicente.
Castilla y Leon Fashion week will begin on 6th October
The XI-th edition of Castilla y Leon Fashion week will take place in Burgos, Spain from 6 to 8 October 2009.
Among the companies, that will show their collections for Spring-Summer 2010 and will be presented in the commercial area are Angel Iglecias, Anton & Moda, Esther Noriega, Havier Vicente, Nalia, Teleno Moda Intima, Intima Farae, Sadecor, Rojatex, Trasluz and other. The fashion show will feature pret-a-porter ladies' wear, bridal and evening wear, children's clothing, accessories, lingerie and swimwear. Up and coming designers will also show their collections.

Susana Escribano is a young designer from Spain. She presented her collection
Autumn/Winter 2009/2010 at Castilla y Leon Fashion week in March 2009.
Her collection is inspired by the Dark Punk-Goth world, where darkness and mystery
accompany you, where you feel pleased to be an active part of darkness, gloom
and death.
To be Gothic is not only to be sensitive, to read the damned poets and to listen to Lagrimosa. To be Gothic is also to be able to seduce to owns and to scare the strangers. A Gothic is born, it is not made.
The crisis did not affect the Castilla y Leon Fashion Week
Castilla y Leon fashion week started on 3rd March in Burgos, Spain. Three days more than 30 Spanish designers and fashion houses present their collections for Autumn-Winter 2009-2010 in fashion shows and trade zone. The collections include womens, mens and children's clothes, underwear and lingerie, accessories and cosmetics. More than 140 journalists and importers from 37 countries attend the event. Here the crisis can not be felt and the organization is perfect. The main sponsor is the regional government which intends to help the growth of the companies from the fashion industry in Castilla y Leon and to raise the event to the level of the other international fashion weeks.
