MANGO gets Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne together to talk about their latest work, on the first day of Milan fashion week: the autumn/winter campaign #somethingincommon.
The Spring-Summer 2013 collection of the brand Moschino has the basics of 1960s pop art: clear lines, strong colors and bold graphic elements.
The collection includes black and white suits and dresses, paired with black or white riding hats cinched around the chin, dresses with bold flowers, repeating motifs - hearts and diamonds of playing cards and simple flowers.
The fashion brand Prada presented its Spring/Summer 2013 collection on the second day of Milan Fashion Week. It is a Japan-inspired apparel line with graphic flower motifs. Although many of the pieces, including satin kimono wraps, had been given names like Mikado, Prada said she hadn't realized just how Japanese-inspired the collection is until it was finished.
The collection includes skinny satin skirts, Origami folded satin tops, kimono wraps, tunic dresses, cycling shorts, boxy fur coats and Geisha style metallic zip-up socks.
Whole, light, shimmering. This is the season for women to inspire. To shine, with joy, elegance, confidence. A season with all the seasons within.
Layers of the retro and contemporary and high-tech, transcending. Reflecting circles of whites, golds, silvers, powders. A season for intelligence and transparency. Fine fabrics flowing, billowing. With happiness and comfort, one complementing the other. Feel the texture, the geometry.
