Moscow Fashion Week took place from June 20th to June 26th, having associated hundreds of Russian brands. In 7 days, 450+ designers presented their collections at several remarkable venues of the Russian capital – in Zaryadye Park, at Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNH), at State Department Store (GUM), at Revolution Square, and Mayakovskaya Metro Station.

The first Moscow Fashion Week, scheduled for June 20 through 26, will become a landmark event for the Russian capital. Attracting and consolidating the fashion industry professionals from all over the country, it is a social project that aims to support local Russian brands, seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Talented designers will have a chance to take part in Moscow Fashion Week free of charge.

Volvo Moscow Fashion Week was opened on Wednesday with the demonstration of a new collection by the Russian fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin.

Yudashkin said that while working on his collection he was inspired by “the expressiveness of rock music”, which materialized in hard silhouettes and a rich color gamut. The collection has already been presented at Paris Fashion Week.
