The 54th Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week takes place in Madrid from 16 to 20 September. The presented collections confirm the fashion trends for Spring/Summer 2012 already marked by fashion experts - full skirts, shirt dresses, belts, white dresses, bold colours and floral prints, tail dresses, sheer fabrics, wide pants, shorts. Although Madrid is not considered one of the major fashion capitals like New York, London, Milan and Paris, I think the presented models are original, stylish and elegant. We present to you models from the collections of Roberto Verino, Jesus Del Pozo, Andres Sardá, Duyos, Adolfo Dominguez, Victorio & Lucchino and Angel Schlesser.
In the same way as at the February edition, the fashion shows can be followed live via the web site, www.cibeles.ifema.es, and, as a new feature, a permanent programme will be offered between fashion shows that includes interviews and reports relating to the world of Spanish fashion and its leading figures.
The 53rd edition of Cibeles Madrid fashion week brings the proposals of 45 Spanish creators together on the runway
From 18th to 23rd February, pavilion 14.1 of the Feria de Madrid becomes the best and most representative show case for the current panorama of Spanish fashion, during the 53rd edition of CIBELES MADRID FASHION WEEK (CMFW), organized by IFEMA. In a space of creation and new tendencies, where the diversity of styles and proposals unite, a total of 45 designers will present on the runway their collections for the new autumn-winter season 2011/12. To these we can add another 40 up-and-coming talents in design, which will take place in EL EGO with direct sales to the public throughout the days of this event.
Fashion and creation are, once again, the main themes of a new edition of CIBELES MADRID FASHION, the great platform for the promotion and dissemination of design in Spain, organised by IFEMA, which is celebrating its fifty-first edition from 18 to 23 February at Feria de Madrid.
On this occasion, the main showcase for Spanish creation involves 51 designers who, with their diverse stylistic proposals, will evidence the creative heterogeneousness of fashion in our country. They will be joined by almost 30 young designers who will be showing their collections in the EL EGO showroom, a space with direct retail sales for the whole time that CIBELES MADRID FASHION WEEK is on.
CIBELES MADRID FASHION WEEK, the grand forum for Spanish design stages its fiftieth edition between 18th and 22nd September 2009 at Feria de Madrid.
Over the last twenty-five years, CIBELES MADRID FASHION WEEK, an event organised by IFEMA, has worked ceaselessly to launch and promote the most outstanding designers of the day, thus helping to boost the profile and unity of Spanish fashion as a whole, resulting in the excellent image that it enjoys today. This work has been made possible by the considerable support that Madrid's institutions have provided for the Fashion Show, especially the initiatives undertaken by the Madrid Regional Government.
