The world-famous model Heidi Klum has signed a new contract with the fashion brand Ann Taylor and announced plans for a new TV show.
37-year-old Heidi Klum after giving up her career as a Victoria Secret model, is all set to enjoy the new opportunity as a TV show host. The model will host the 20 half-hour episodes of her new show, titled "Seriously Funny Kids", which will be produced by LMNO Productions with Heidi Klum.
Heidi Klum has unveiled her first fashion collection in collaboration with New Balance in New York.
The German supermodel wore one of her own dresses to the launch of the range in conjunction with New Balance - which includes tunics, tops and leggings - although she is most proud of the basics the set provides.
Heidi Klum’s new clothing collection is aimed at busy mothers.
The supermodel – who raises four children with husband Seal – says she decided to create the line, Heidi Klum for New Balance, because she wanted something comfortable and stylish to wear when she takes her kids to school.
She said: “Moms are doing so many things, we have so many hats on – go to Starbucks, meet a friend, go to a meeting – and you don’t really want to do that in nasty sweatpants...
Despite the recession, top models are raking in millions of dollars, with Brazilian Gisele Bundchen, German Heidi Klum and Briton Kate Moss the biggest earners.
Bundchen, the 29-year-old beauty who is married to U.S. football player Tom Brady is the world's highest-paid model, making $25 million last year, according to forbes.com.
The German supermodel - who is pregnant with her fourth child - will
immortalised in plastic as part of Barbie's Blonde Ambition Collection,
which celebrates iconic blondes in fashion and entertainment.
When asked what she wanted her fashion doll to look like, Heidi said: "You guys just have to hold onto your horses a little while longer and then maybe then you'll know and see." Heidi - who was given the keys to Barbie's Malibu Dream House and Car at the iconic doll's 50th Anniversary celebrations last month - is not the first celebrity to have her own doll.

She said: "I grew up reading German Vogue and was really excited when they came to me with the idea for the 'Heidi by Vogue' issue. It was a thrill working with the team of photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists and editors. We shot the entire issue in one week - it was a group effort!"
The model has asked Christian Siriano - who won the fourth season of 'Project
Runway', the fashion TV show she presents - to make her a variety of pieces
in the dark hue.
Christian explained: "She's all about black. We made her some pieces from my Fierce Mama Maternity line and she wanted everything in black. I think she's trying to cover it a little this time. She's getting older and wants to be more sophisticated, not casual. She's trying to keep it a little quiet."
