The Dutch Showroom of the MFC (the first from the European chain that the Cluster is planning to create) was opened on November 16, 2015 in the World Fashion Center Amsterdam. An unique review-spectacle combining Bulgarian folklore and contemporary fashion with traditional Bulgarian embroidery (shevitza) was presented to the audience.
The Bulgarian team of Richmart Vintage is in Netherlands and follows in the footsteps of Bulgarian dance, embroidery and rhythms that truly obey people in the country of tulips. Dean Manev - the President of Men's Fashion Cluster - is already in The Netherlands. He is there with serious intentions - to turn Bulgarian dances, embroidery (shevitza) and fashion into 'generator of business in Europe'.
As we've already noted, sedentary lifestyle is the key risk factor for people's lives and health. That's why a group of active Bulgarians - each of them successful in their field - united themselves to create a proposal for the problem's solution. The system is called Folknetika and it was presented yesterday in Sofia, Bulgaria, during a press conference at the Bulgarian News Agency.
Last night (September 30, 2015) was the second evening of the fashion show in Ruse, during which was held a press conference 'Ruse - a pearl of the world fashion's necklace'. It was followed by a review-spectacle, combining fashion and Bulgarian folklore dances, presented by dance formation RICHMART. Dancers were dressed in men's suit jackets, decorated with traditional Bulgarian embroidery (shevitza), designed by Rayna Gancheva and Tsvetomir Petkov.
In the end of October, the National Folklore Ensemble 'BULGARE' is going to the Netherlands for a one-month tour. BULGARE is going to present Bulgarian dances and folklore in some of the most prestigious theaters in more than 20 cities in the country.
