BVLGARI celebrates special night at the Van Gogh Museum
BVLGARI celebrated the homecoming of the two stolen masterpieces of Vincent van Gogh at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. BVLGARI contributed the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Guardia di Finanza to return the masterpieces almost fifteen years after their theft from Naples (Italy) to the museum in Amsterdam. Especially for BVLGARI invitees the paintings, View of the Sea at Scheveningen and Congregation leaving the Reformed Church in Nuenen were displayed at the Van Gogh Museum
"Designer for Tomorrow" fashion talent award
Happy 10th DfT! Lara Krude is the winner of the “Designer for Tomorrow” fashion talent award, which Peek & Cloppenburg and Fashion ID have awarded for the tenth time. The graduate of the HAW, Hamburg presented her “What remains” collection this morning on the runway of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin and impressed the Jury Board of Patron Stella McCartney with her innovative tailoring skills. At the start of the award show, 2016 DfT winner, Edda Gimnes, presented her new collection in her first solo fashion show. Among the prominent guests were, among others, international model Kenya Kinski, the newly married Victoria Swarovski as well as German model and actress Susan Hoecke.

United Nude created shoes, inspired by the Lady Gaga Fame campaign
The shoe retailer United Nude created a special model of shoes, inspired by the ad campaign where Lady Gaga is presented as naked colossus with an army of tiny good looking menfolk scaling her body.
The shoes have 12 inch high heels. They are available for purchase at the United Nude flagship stores in Paris, London and Amsterdam.
17th edition of Amsterdam Fashion Week
The seventeenth edition of Amsterdam Fashion Week (AFW) took place from the 11th until the 15th of July on the Westergas Area (Cultuurpark Westergas) in Amsterdam. Both renowned designers and upcoming talented designers show their latest collections to fashion professionals.
The fashion week has started on Wednesday night with shows of two talented Dutch designers. Claes Iversen made a big impression with his Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
