Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia accepts grant applications from designers from around the world
Designers from any part of Russia or the Earth are invited to live stream their new collections. Brands that do not intend to come to the Russian capital but are ready to stream their shows online can apply at the website of Russian Fashion Council till March 31. The Advisory board will make a long-list in accordance with the rules of MBFW Russia. Brands and designers from other cities and countries will be announced on the primary schedule of the Fashion Week.
EFWA is accepting submissions from designers to create one unique look using men's shirts
Eco Fashion Week Australia (EFWA) is now accepting submissions from designers around the world to create one unique look using men’s shirts for the return of the Upcycling Challenge by Marilyn R. Wilson. Accepted submissions will be featured on the runway at the second annual event in November, in two states: Nov. 4 – 10 in Port Douglas, Queensland; and Nov. 15 – 21 in Perth, Western Australia.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week draws hundreds of thousands of fashion fans to New York City, and today IMG Fashion, owners and producers of the Event, announced the preliminary line up of designers who will take center-stage at Lincoln Center, September 5-12, 2013.
Jakarta Fashion Week 2012
The Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) is Indonesia's definitive fashion event, held annually to showcase Indonesian fashion design talents as well as the progress of its burgeoning fashion and creative industry. The goal is to establish the city of Jakarta as a global fashion hub. Most shows are invites-only, reserved for buyers, local and foreign media, socialites, celebrities and the rest of the fashion-loving public.
This year more than 150 designers - local, regional and international - have confirmed their attendance at Jakarta Fashion Week 2012. The opening night (12 November) featured four of ASEAN's global talents: Biyan from Indonesia, the Singapore-born England-based Ashley Isham, Malaysia's Bernard Chandran and Thailand's Tube Gallery. At Jakarta Fashion week will also participate the British milliner Justin Smith's collaboration with Oscar Lawalata, Dewi Fashion Knights, which boasts the latest collections from Indonesia's elite designers such as Tex Saverio, Sebastian Gunawan, Sally Koeswanto, Sally Djojokartiko and Auguste Soesastro.
Versace For Men AUTUMN/WINTER 2011-12: three-dimensional
This season’s Versace collection for men presents an optical game of shapes, proportions, colours and graphics, conducted with a knowing and contemporary nod.
This is not, however, a look that sparkles and shines. Instead the luxurious aspect of the collection – such a hallmark of the Versace brand – comes from the fine fabrics used and the expert tailoring employed.
The foundation of the collection comprises highly sartorial elements, with garments that have a new volume and are less rigid and softer than previously.
Hetty Rose launched RTW collection at the Fashion Lounge event for London Fashion Week 2010
Bespoke shoe designer Hetty Rose launched her first ever Ready to Wear collection for London Fashion Week.
The Ready to Wear collection will be available to buy from October this year. Customers will be able to purchase shoes from www.hettyrose.co.uk, selective boutiques in the UK and internationally. The key classic and top selling styles, which include Mika, Yuki, Kiki, Haruka and Mami, have been selected as part of the collection. In the future the collections will include more accessories; such as bags, interiors, baby shoes and men’s ties. Prices currently start at £150 for a pair of shoes.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Campaign Spring/Summer 2011
Many celebrated guests of Mercedes-Benz as Milla Jovovich, Philip Treacy, Miles Aldridge, Boris Becker, Vitali Klitschko and Matthias Schweighofer made the trip to the capital to take part in the shows at the Bebelplatz and the side events of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.
Mexican fashion brand Jesus Ibarra + Bertholdo (JI+B)’s presentation on Friday evening garnered also quite a lot of attention. Mercedes-Benz brought the successful duo in from Mexico in the capital, their first international performance.

Who’s who of fashion industry attends MERCEDES-BENZ & Vogue Fashion Night
The event highlight of the first day was the third edition of the joint VOGUE and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Night, which was attended by the who's who of the fashion industry as well as many celebrities. Boris, Lilly and Noah Becker was seen enjoying the evening as were Hannah Herzsprung, Hannelore Elsner, Natalia Wörner, Jana Pallaske, Luca Gadjus, Jette Joop, Michael Michalsky, Dorothee Schumacher or Viktoria Strehle, Nicolas Berggruen, Nikolaus Jagdfeld and Berlin’s mayor Klaus Wowereit.

Design", Belgrade, Serbia. His collection Spring - Summer 2010 is unique
and provocative and attracted the attention of people and media at
London Fashion Week, where it was presented as part of Vauxhall Fashion
Scout's "One to Watch" show.
His designs have also been showcased at ceremonies including the "Nokia L’Amour Award", in which he was awarded "Best Young Designer" and at Belgrade Fashion Week in October ’08.

Mark Jacobs presented comfortable garments in New York
Mark Jacobs gave up the image of fashion’s "wild child" with his Fall/Winter 2010/2011 collection at New York Fashion Week.
His elegant collection was presented by models with simple, natural hair and almost non-existent make-up. The focus was on the comfortable to wear skirts and jackets in graphite color, combined with soft, warm sweaters.
The best of Spanish Fashion at Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week
Fashion and creation are, once again, the main themes of a new edition of CIBELES MADRID FASHION, the great platform for the promotion and dissemination of design in Spain, organised by IFEMA, which is celebrating its fifty-first edition from 18 to 23 February at Feria de Madrid.
On this occasion, the main showcase for Spanish creation involves 51 designers who, with their diverse stylistic proposals, will evidence the creative heterogeneousness of fashion in our country. They will be joined by almost 30 young designers who will be showing their collections in the EL EGO showroom, a space with direct retail sales for the whole time that CIBELES MADRID FASHION WEEK is on.
Brides and rebellions at the fashion podium in Rome
A mixture of frivolously dressed girls like rebellions and elegant brides were seen by the audience during the AltaRoma fashion week in Rome, Italy.
The designer Abed Mahfouz from Lebanon presented romantic models for brides in white and formal dresses in turquoise nuances.
The Italian couturier Fausto Sarli also presented bridal gowns. He amazed the audience with the clean line and unusual accents in the dresses for the most special day in the life of every young woman.

Collections evening and cocktail dresses for Spring/Summer 2010 presented Angel Iglecias, Eulalia Mateos, Fely Campo and Esther Noriega.
Underwear and swim suits presented ORY, Teleno, Intima Farae, Lizetta and Evelyn. Beside plain models, the trendy patterns are stripes, dots and animal prints.
Bright colours dominated in the first day of Milan fashion week
The collections shown during the first day of Milan fashion week used colorful pink, yellow, blue and green probably in an effort to fight the current grim economic mood. The same trend was noticed also at Madrid and London fashion weeks.
Minimalistic silhouettes by Prada, Mediterranean chic from Armani, original jeans by Dolce & Gabbana, urban rock by Just Cavalli - they all were in bright colours.

Happy hues dominated at London Fashion Week
Orange, lemon, lime green, cerulean, fuchsia and other happy hues made the runways come alive at London's Fashion Week.
"Right now, everyone's looking for colour, I think they're looking for optimism, more shape, less layering," commented Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour for Reuters.
Paul Smith presented clothes in the colours of the rainbow, inspired by Congo, Nicole Farhi created cocktail dresses in orange and green, and one in neon yellow with a deep neckline.
