Marks and Spencer have unveiled their new bridal lingerie collection called Wedding Day Wonders with a cheeky photoshoot. London is the new world's fashion capital
London has overtaken New York as the world's fashion capital for 2011, fueled by media interest in late British designer Alexander McQueen and Kate Middleton, according to a survey by the Global Language Monitor. London moved up from third to first place in 2011, ousting New York from the top spot it had held in the survey for several years.

Dior suspends designer John Galliano after arrest
Fashion house Dior said on Friday it had suspended chief designer John Galliano pending the outcome of a police enquiry into allegations he assaulted a couple and used anti-Semitic insults in a Paris bar.
"The House of Dior declares with the greatest firmness its policy of zero tolerance with regard to any anti-Semitic or racist statement or attitude," Dior boss Sidney Toledano said in a statement.
"Pending the outcome of the enquiry, Christian Dior has suspended John Galliano from all duties."

Vogue UK reports that Karl Lagerfeld will not show a Lagerfeld collection at Paris Fashion Week in October.
The designer canceled his show and instead of showing on October 3, Lagerfeld will create a "masstige" ready-to-wear collection, aimed at a much wider audience that will be sold online.
