International fashion design contest Men's Style - an opportunity for young and approved designers

The Men's fashion cluster organizes International fashion design contest for designers, fashion photographers and filmmakers and the theme is: 'Men's suit - modern and practical'.
The main aims of the project are to make the suit more attractive and practical in everyday life of men, teenagers and children, to preserve made-to-measure traditions and to promote the use of wool fabrics, which allow the clothes to breath, being ecologically clean, practical, light and fine.

The Global Campaign for Wool was held in Milan

Italy held its first Wool Week from 10 to 16 September 2013 in Milan.
There were celebrations supporting the global Campaign for Wool inspired by the 'Live naturally, choose wool' claim and promoting wool as a natural, biodegradable and renewable fibre.
One of the aims is to build a bridge between the textile community, fashion industry and consumers.

International fashion design contest - Men's Style 2013/2014

The Men's fashion cluster and Fashion.bg are in the process of organizing an International fashion design contest - Men's Style 2013/2014. The theme of the contest is "The men's suit - modern, stylish and practical".

The competition is open for designers from around the world over the age of 18. They should send their sketches of models of men's suits or photos of finished men's suits of their own design. A new look has been given to ALU’s showroom in NYC. Thanks to a partnership with PANTONE at the end of June, the newly transformed space pays a tribute to colors and enhances ALU’s creed to reinvent and re-imagine.

PANTONE, the sole author of the universal color language, held an interactive lecture on the importance of colors and their impact in retail design.

The company has whole year contracts with more than 30 clients from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Greece, Sweden, Czech Republic, Poland, etc.

On 27-28 May 2013 the port city Karachi became home to Pakistan's first-ever Men's Fashion Week.
In Pakistani society in their everyday life, most men wear shalwar kamiz - a combination of long shirts and loose trousers.
But Karachi Fashion Week 2013 tried to buck that trend with two days of shows dedicated exclusively to men's fashion and emerging male designers.

International Fashion Congress - Rousse 2010 - New Profitable Strategy Of The Fashion Industry In Europe.

On the occasion of the forthcoming International Fashion Congress – Rousse 2010, which is organized by RICHMART INNOVATION, in BTA Press Club was held a press conference in which participated: Mr. Martin Jordanov, organizer of RICHMART INNOVATION; Mrs. Mariana Manolova, chief executive of BAATPE (Bulgarian association of Apparel and Textile Producers and Exporters); Mrs. Daniela Simeonova, a representative of BULIP (Branch Union of the Light Industry Producers) - Rousse, and professor Lyubomir Stoikov, chairman of the Bulgarian Academy for Fashion.

At the press conference was given a letter of support from eng. Bozhidar Yotov, mayor of the Municipality of Rousse, which will host the prestigious forum, which "will not only improve the local economy, boost the activity of light industry, but will be of benefit to residents of the municipality".
