What made the Wooyoungmi show unlike any of the others was the cool and interesting tie between retro elements combined with country inspired feels with a modern twist. The striking colour palette that had soothing hues drawn from nature such as buttercup yellow, dusky blue, earth tones, maroon and pale grey. European Fashion Award FASH 2016 Awarded to Seven Promising Young Designers
At the start of Berlin Fashion Week, seven promising young designers were awarded the European Fashion Award FASH 2016. The awards, valued at EUR 200,000 in total, were presented in front of 250 guests on Monday evening by the non-profit organization SDBI –Stiftung der Deutschen Bekleidungsindustrie (German Fashion Industry Foundation). The ceremony took place in the impressive halls of Berlin’s Neues Museum, part of the Museum Island UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Cracow Fashion Awards 2011
Cracow Fashion Awards, a Polish contest for young designers, has opened Cracow Fashion Week for the third time. Since 1996, Cracow Fashion Awards has annually promoted emerging talents in fashion design, who have recently graduated from Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design. The level of this year’s entries has been of an exceptionally high standard. IT'S MY TIME - Benetton launches the global interactive multimedia campaign
Benetton launches the first worldwide casting session to find the personal styles of young people and their vision of the future.
The winners will appear in the United Colors of Benetton product campaign for autumn-winter 2010/2011.
The ball starts rolling in February with a worldwide periodical-press campaign. Young people are invited to attend a global casting session and illustrate their style and personality – the things that make them unique – through videos and photographs, which can be uploaded at will and free of charge at www.benetton.com/casting and through a special YouTube page.

Big Christmas fashion show of fashion students in New Bulgarian university
On 16 December students in fashion in New Bulgarian university showed their creations. The fashion show is a result from the work of students and teachers who prepared the models in the course of several months for this big event. The artistic fantasy and inspiration of the young people, their non-standard ideas were realized very successfully. The fashion show presented the style and methods of education in fashion in the university. The students designed and produced the clothes on their own.
The fashion show was separated in two themes - Winter kaleidoscope and Clothes & armor.
