FGF Industry celebrates its twentieth anniversary in collaboration with Pitti Immagine Uomo with an immersive exhibition presented by Blauer at La Dogana in Florence. A road trip through the United States, taken by British photographer James Mollison on behalf of Blauer. A visual narration of authentic landscapes and people in the form of a genuine snapshot of contemporary America. The exhibition, curated by Felice Limosani, will be inaugurated on Tuesday January the 7th and then it will be open to the public from Wednesday the 8th until Friday January the 10th.

WHITE Milano keeps achieving outstanding results. The Tradeshow closes its September edition with 27.934 visitors (3% more than in September 2018). The buyers have increased by 2%, foreign buyers have reached 9%, while Italy has dropped by 1%.

The 26th edition of Milano Unica, Italian Textiles and Accessories Trade Show, which was held at Fiera Milano Rho from 6 to 8 February, not only registered a significant uptick in exhibitors (+14%), but also a corresponding rise in the companies visiting the fair, a total of 5,949. In particular, foreign companies increased by 10%. This result, especially in the February edition, featuring materials for the Spring/Summer collections, rewards the courageous and innovative decisions made under the helm of Ercole Botto Poala. In celebration of one of the most prestigious couture houses in the world, the National Gallery of Victoria is delighted to present The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture at NGV International from 27 August to 7 November 2017. Exclusive to Melbourne and the NGV, the exhibition will present more than 140 garments designed between 1947 and 2017, including some of the most outstanding, theatrical and technically accomplished pieces from Christian Dior Couture.

David Yurman, America’s premier luxury jewelry brand, hosted its first-ever men’s collection exhibition to take place during Milano Moda Uomo fashion week, on January 14 and 15, 2017. The exhibition is rendered in collaboration with sculptor, painter and performance artist Anthony James, whose unique sculptures will be displayed in tandem with David Yurman men’s jewelry. Sharon Takeda, curator of “Reigning Men: Fashion in Menswear, 1715–2015” opening at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on April 10, says, “After five years of researching and finding pieces to put in the show, we have quite an interesting group of things that are quite colorful. It is designed by Evgeni Petkov, who will present Bulgaria at the Eco Chic forum – a world fashion exhibition, which will be held in Geneva. 43 fashion designers will take part in this forum. Among them will be the famous designers Rick Owens and Diane von Furstenberg.
Evgeni Petkov's models are inspired by Bulgarian folklore. The dress, which he will present, was specially made by 100% natural fabrics. The knitting dress is unique because it was made by natural wool with linen lining. It is arranged with Eco-cotton tracery from Germany.
