Thomas Tait is the winner of the 2010 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize. It was awarded last night in The Dorchester’s elegant Orchid Room where an intimate gathering of VIP guests mingled with the celebrated Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize judging panel.
The judges of the inaugural Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize included Manolo Blahnik, the Hon. Daphne Guinness, milliner Stephen Jones, Yasmin Le Bon, Giles Deacon, Vanity Fair contributing editor Elizabeth Saltzman, ES Magazine’s fashion director Gianluca Longo and Bronwyn Cosgrave, chairperson of the Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize.
Jennifer Lopez and her twins will be stars in Gucci Ad
Jennifer Lopez and her twins, Max and Emme, will be the new stars of Gucci's debut childrenswear campaign.
The adverts were shot by famous photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Mailbu in July and feature beach side shots of Lopez and her two-year-old twins, decked in the label's apparel and accessories.
According to WWD, Gucci will also make a donation to UNICEF and the Maribel Foundation - a charity founded by Lopez and her sister, Lynda, which raises money for health care for women around the world.

Kate Moss has signed on to be the new face of Vogue Eyewear.
The British model – who has previously appeared in glasses ads for Versace, Yves Saint Laurent and Just Cavalli – will be seen in shots by photographer Mario Testino in spring 2011.
36- year-old Kate replaces Brazilian beauty Gisele in the campaign, which will also feature a selection of four sunglasses and two optical frames chosen by the model named Kate’s Favourites.

Bespoke shoe designer Hetty Rose launched her first ever Ready to Wear collection for London Fashion Week.
The Ready to Wear collection will be available to buy from October this year. Customers will be able to purchase shoes from www.hettyrose.co.uk, selective boutiques in the UK and internationally. The key classic and top selling styles, which include Mika, Yuki, Kiki, Haruka and Mami, have been selected as part of the collection. In the future the collections will include more accessories; such as bags, interiors, baby shoes and men’s ties. Prices currently start at £150 for a pair of shoes.

Researchers found that Botox injections, which smooth out facial lines by partially freezing muscles, also have uplifting side effects that make patients smile.
Psychologists studied 25 people – 12 of whom had Botox injections to the forehead, while the rest had fillers, peals or cosmetic treatments.
All the participants completed a mood questionnaire at least two weeks later.
